Pentangle is an independent Thai registered company which specializes in sports marketing and currently organizes a more diverse range of sporting events that anyone else in Thailand. Our portfolio includes tournaments at world tour, international and national level as well as a number of corporate programmes.
The company is unique in that it is both license holder and the organizer of some of Thailand’s major annual sporting events, including the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) Tour professional women’s tennis Tournament , the PTT Pattaya Open, which was the WTA International Series “Tournament of the Year” in 2010 and the Swatch FIVB Beach Volley World Tour, the Phuket Thailand Open, the biggest beach volley tournament in the region.
We have brought some of the world’s most famous women sports stars to Thailand, such as Anna Kournikova, Martina Hingis, Ana Ivanovic, Venus Williams, Jelena Jankovic and Misty May Treanor & Kerry Walsh, the current beach volley Olympic champions.
Pentangle’s current sports programme includes more than 15 beach volleyball, golf and tennis tournaments and we are looking at opportunities in other sports as well.
Pentangle has a number of strategic partnerships including IEC in Sports, Oceanico World Golf (Portugal), Lemon Labs Asia Pte Ltd (Singapore) and Teens On The Green (USA).
